none of us seem to really even know the details of that show, haha. they never even told us that they are playing here officially - we only know about it from the clap your hands website and stuff, or at least that's the only way i know.

however, i came here to see rainer maria/rufus wainwright before i started coming here - if tickets are available on ticketmaster or you can find them anywhere else, the show is open to the public and so on. however, if tickets aren't, chances are that it's supposed to be for students only or something like that, but i don't even know how that works, becuase there rarely is anybody ever checking that kind of stuff.

so yeah, i'm of no help at all. our website claims that the concert is in the mug at 6 pm, in which case you probably need to be somebody's guest or something to get in, but it doesn't even say who is playing on our website so i don't know how accurate that is. sorry!

i'm pretty sure it's the concert on the 15th that starts at 6pm in the Mug (our on-campus bar/nightclub). that means that yes, you need to be someone's guest and get a guest pass.

To find the show, go to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie (44/55 from the
Taconic state parkway or the thruway) and follow the signs to main
gate. Main building is the large building you are facing after you

yes, those are directions to the Mug. the Mug is inside Main building. the signs will make the Mug easy to find.

you may not even need a guest pass. i'm so unsure about what's going on with this.

you'd have to talk with a Vassar student to get a guest pass. they have to kinda sign you in with security. i'd do it, but i'm already signing my friends in. sorry.

you could just show up and once you get there, if it turns out you do in fact need a guest pass, you might be able to get a random student to do it for you. some kids take the guest pass thing seriously; others don't.
